Contact Tracer 

As a contract tracer, you will call people who may have been exposed to COVID-19 to help them understand what to do next. You may be the first point of contact for the people you call, so empathy is a must. This is typically a work from home position. 

ZOOM Specialist 

Are you a whiz at setting up ZOOM or other video platforms? From telemedicine to remote teaching, more and more professionals are taking their work fully or partially online, and not all of them have the needed technical skills. If you know how to help, you could find yourself in high demand, primarily on a freelance basis. 

Temperature Screener 

Fever is a common symptom for people infected with COVID-19, so businesses from airports to schools to theme parks have started instituting temperature checks at their entrances. If you’re comfortable using a no-contact forehead thermometer on strangers, this could be a job to explore. 

Divider Installer 

Many schools and workplaces have started installing Plexiglas dividers to keep people safely apart. If you’re good with your hands, you may be able to find part-time or freelance work creating and setting up these structures in a wide variety of locations. 

Face Mask Sewer/Assembler

Face masks are an essential safety tool, and we may be wearing them for some time to come. If you’re good with a sewing machine, this can be a great way to make some money. You might set up an online storefront to sell your own designs, or take a job making logo-branded masks for companies, sports teams, or even bands.
